Want to keep WhatsApp chats private? Do this remedy

Meta has recently added a chat lock feature to the app to improve and strengthen the privacy of WhatsApp users. With its help you can lock your social chats. To lock the chat you have to go to the user’s profile and turn on the chat lock option. Doing so moves the chat to another folder. If you are also using this feature of WhatsApp, then know these 2 things for sure.

Keep these 2 things in mind

If you have locked a chat in WhatsApp, it will not be locked in WhatsApp web version. Which means, anyone can see it. If you open your account on WhatsApp Web, another person can read your chats.

If you keep the Chat Lock folder open and forget to close this window, anyone can still read your chats. So turn off WhatsApp before going somewhere. So that your privacy is not disturbed. In fact this might be a bug that the company should fix in the future. But there is no information yet on when this will happen.
