Twitter new feature: Social media platform Twitter has given its users another special feature. Twitter is getting hit hard by meta threads. In just 5 days, Threads has created a userbase of 100 million. Many users are switching from Twitter to Threads. Meanwhile, the company has launched a new facility for Twitter users, which will protect them from spam messages. Actually, nowadays everyone gets many types of spam messages on Twitter. Several users complained about this to Elon Musk and the company. Now the company has released a new feature to prevent spam, which has gone live since July 14.

On turning on the new facility you will get much less spam messages in DM and you will be able to decide who can send you messages. You will find a new option in the DM section under Settings and Privacy. Here you have to select the option of quality filter. After doing this you will only see DM messages from people you follow. Verified users, whom you do not follow, will go to their message request. Note that you can change the setting at any time.
