Twitter Rate limit and revenue sharing policy: Elon Musk decided to impose a rate limit on Twitter earlier this month. After that users will be able to see only limited posts in a day. Recently, Elon Musk also shared information that the company will now share a portion of the ad revenue with the creators. Only those people who are eligible for it will get the money. Meanwhile, the company has updated its revenue and rate limit policy.

In fact, a Twitter user (Peeny2x) tweeted and wrote, I think my daily limit is coming up soon. The rate limit is much lower for verified users. In response, Elon Musk wrote that the rate cap will be reached when someone scrolls continuously on the platform for 8 hours. If one is doing the wrong thing it can be done quickly. In response, users shared a screenshot of screen time with Musk. Seeing this, Musk wrote that, we are increasing the rate limit by 50% and it will start from now.

The revenue sharing policy was also updated

Currently the company is sharing a portion of the ad revenue with the producers. For this the user’s account should have more than 5 million tweet impressions per month in the last 3 months. Meanwhile, Elon Musk said that soon the company will also share revenue based on page views, which will double the payout. That means popular content creators will benefit more.

While on the one hand Twitter is getting heavy competition from Thread, on the other hand Elon Musk is constantly working to improve the Twitter app. Last week, Twitter CEO Linda Yaccarino shared the information that the highest traffic since February was registered on Twitter last week. Meanwhile, according to a report, Musk may soon roll out some new features for Twitter Blue users. Twitter user @biertester shared this information which was reposted by Twitter Daily News. Twitter users have got the option to hide their likes timeline and remove their likes from their profile. Currently, this option is only available to a few people which the company may roll out to everyone in the future.
