Twitter Restrictions: Musk has made many changes to Twitter since taking over. We all are now ready to see something new on this platform. Recently, Musk imposed a read limit on the platform. Under which blue tick users will be able to see only 10,000 tweets in a day, unverified users 1,000 tweets and newly added unverified users will be able to see only 500 tweets in a day. Also people who do not have an account on Twitter will no longer be able to access anything related to the platform.

Musk has taken this step to reduce data theft. In fact until now Twitter was an open platform, allowing anyone to access its data and use it anywhere. After the introduction of AI tools, there was a further increase in data theft on the platform. After that Musk has taken this decision.

Record of most users – Musk

Elon Musk posted a tweet the other day in which he said that the most active users on Twitter last week were recorded by seconds. Musk has made such claims before. In an interview with the BBC in April, Musk said the social media app is setting records for user engagement and that big advertisers are coming back.

However, SimilarWeb’s report says otherwise and the company has said that Twitter saw a year-over-year decline of 18.7 percent. According to SimilarWeb, “Worldwide visits to twitter.com fell 7.3% year-over-year in March, marking the third straight month of declines. Twitter’s user engagement is declining.

SimilarWeb’s report also states that average daily active users for Android apps fell by 9.8 percent and monthly active users by 8 percent in March. Musk tweeted in March, which he reiterated in a BBC interview, that Twitter was now recording more than 8 billion minutes of user engagement per day, a new record.

Monthly traffic fluctuations

We found no evidence that Twitter’s previous management ever reported this particular metric, SimilarWeb said in its report. It also added that this is a claim that the company cannot confirm. The report said that Twitter’s traffic has been fluctuating from month to month for the past few years and there is no fixed pattern of growth. That is, there is no proof of what Musk says.
