Truecaller AI Assistance Feature: Spam calls are increasing continuously. Generally, everyone receives one or the other such calls during the day which are spam. Truecaller has introduced a new AI powered feature to get rid of spam calls. The company has released an AI Assistance feature that uses machine learning and cloud telephony to tell people whether to pick up a call or not. AI assistance is currently available for Android users. You can use this feature by downloading the latest version of the app.
TrueCaller’s new feature automatically picks up calls and transcribes the caller’s voice to let the user know whether to pick up the call or not. If you have turned on this feature and you are away from the phone, if a call comes in, Truecaller will automatically pick up the call and inform you that it is spam. Rishit Jhunjhunwala, MD, India, Truecaller, said that till now Truecaller used to show you who is calling but now you can let the Truecaller Assistant interact with the caller on your behalf so that you don’t have to pick up unnecessary spam calls.
How the new feature works?
By enabling this feature, whenever you receive a call, you can transfer it to a digital assistant. That means AI will pick your call instead of you. The AI will convert the caller’s voice into text and tell you whether you should take the call or not.
Currently, this feature is available on a 14-day free trial for Android users. After the free trial ends, you can add an assistant as part of the Truecaller Premium Assistant plan which costs Rs. Starting from 149. Let us tell you that this plan is currently available for Rs 99 under a promotional deal. Truecaller Assistance initially supports English, Hindi and ‘Hinglish’ in India. If you want, you can customize the AI message and change the voice.
