Two-wheeler maker KTM has today launched two new bikes 250 Duke and 390 Duke in the Indian market. The company has prepared both the bikes on a new frame. KTM 250 and 390 Duke: Design and platform
The company has prepared the new generation KTM 390 Duke and 250 Duke on a new platform. This platform is composed of a trellis frame and an aluminum sub-frame. Talking about design, motorcycles are looking more aggressive and more attractive than before. There is a new twin headlamp setup at the front, with LED DRLs placed on either side of the headlamp housing.

The newly designed fuel tank with new graphics on the shroud looks stronger and more powerful than before. The floating rear section has no body panels and the rear subframe is completely open. The bikes now have side-slung exhaust mufflers instead of underbelly units.

The new KTM 390 Duke is available in two color options: Electronic Orange Metallic and Atlantic Blue. Whereas, KTM 250 Duke is available with Electronic Orange and Ceramic White color options. Both the bikes have 17 inch alloy wheels.

At the same time, the new generation KTM 250 Duke has a new 249cc liquid-cooled engine which generates 31 hp power and 25 nm torque. It is 1 hp more powerful and 1 nm more torquey than the previous existing model. Both the engines are tuned to a 6-speed gearbox and come with quickshifter with slipper clutch.
