Google Makes It Easier For Users To Create Meetings In Gmail

Gmail New feature for faster meetings: Google has started adding calendar tools to Gmail, with which you can easily create, share or schedule meetings. With the help of this new feature you will be able to create a new meeting right in Gmail which will save you a lot of time and effort. You will find 2 options in the calendar icon. One is Create an event” and the other is “Offer times you’re free”.

Set up a meeting like this

Offer times you’re free is a new feature. With which users can bring any meeting details from calendar directly to Gmail. To use this feature users click on the calendar icon while composing or replying to an email and from there, select “Offer Time You’re Free”. Doing so will open a calendar in the sidebar and from here you can schedule meetings by highlighting different days and time slots. As soon as the receiver selects any one time, he will automatically get an invitation. The new feature helps users, partners or people create meetings whose Google Calendar you see.

CreateEvent is a legacy feature that creates a Google Calendar event with the event name set as the Subject and Participant receiver. Along with this, the email body also contains information related to the meeting so that people can be informed about the event.

It is worth noting that the new feature is currently available for one-on-one meetings.

Note, the new feature is currently only available for one-on-one meetings. If multiple people are included in the receiver list, the person who chooses the first time will be added to the event. This feature is available for both Google Workspace and Personal Google Account users.
