Through a Threads post, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg said that the app has crossed over 70 million userbase. Threads is the only app that has touched this figure in such a short period of time. The company crossed 1 million userbase in just 7 hours which was faster than Chat GPT. When Twitter was first launched, it took 2 years to add 1 million subscribers. Similarly, Facebook took 10 months, Netflix 3.5 years, Instagram 2.5 months, Spotify 5 months and ChatGPT, an AI technology platform launched last year, 5 days.
