  • 250 grams of cheese
  • 2 green chillies
  • Finely chop a 1 inch piece of ginger
  • 1-2 medium sized onions finely chopped
  • 1 medium size tomato finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped coriander
  • 1 tablespoon of oil
  • 1 tablespoon of ghee
  • 2-3 spoons of curd
  • 1 pinch asafoetida
  • 1/4 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon red chili
  • Salt to taste

Method of making

First of all mix asafoetida, turmeric, coriander powder and red chilli powder in curd and mix it well and keep it aside. Now take a pan and heat oil and ghee in it. Mix green chillies, ginger and onion in it and saute well. Mix salt in it so that the onion will start to release water and will rise. When it gets fried, mix curd in it and stir for a minute. Now mash the paneer and add it to the pan, mix everything well and fry for a minute. After this mix the tomato. Turn off the gas. Now mix coriander in it. Your paneer bhurji is ready. You can serve it with naan or paratha.
