material

  • 1 cup ragi flour
  • 1/2 cup of butter
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 2 table spoons of modified dry fruits
  • 1 table spoon of poppy seeds
  • 1 cup modified jaggery
  • 2 tablespoons of desi ghee

method of making

Rich in flavor and nutrition, ragi is best for making barfi. You add ragi in the mixer and prepare its flour. If you want, you can also bring ready-made ragi flour from the market. Take a vessel and take ragi flour in it. After this take a pan and heat desi ghee in it. Once the ghee melts, fry the modified dry fruits in it and let it turn golden. Now separate it in a bowl.

Now grease a plate with ghee. After this sprinkle poppy seeds on it. After this, roast ghee and ragi in a pan on low flame. When it gets roasted well add jaggery and let it melt. Once the jaggery melts, mix in the dry fruits and stir the mixture until it separates from the yolks. After this spread it in a plate. Cut into favorite shape. After this keep it in the fridge for 5 minutes. Barfi will set well. You can enjoy this barfi.
