This is how to make idli
Take one and a half cups of soaked rice in a blender and mix one cup of water in it to make a flavorful idli for breakfast. Blend both these well and prepare a smooth paste. Now keep your batter aside. Take a pan and add rava to it and roast it on low flame. The roo will turn pink and start to smell. Now keep it aside. and let cool. Mix one cup of curd and a little salt in one cup of rava. Mix this mixture well in the rice batter. Now beat all the mixture well for 3-4 minutes. So that the batter becomes very light. After this cover the vessel and keep the mixture aside for 20 minutes. During this time the batter will swell a little. Now add water as needed and beat it once again. After this add some baking powder and mix. Now take an idli pot, apply some oil on it and pour the prepared batter and steam the idli on medium flame for about 15 minutes. At this time the idli will rise completely. Now take out the cooked idlis in a vessel. Similarly prepare idlis from all the batter. Now serve idli with sambar or chutney for breakfast.
