“World Yoga Day” celebrations in Narmada district will be held at the Statue of Unity Patangan in the Union Ministry of Commerce and Industry in the inspiring presence of Minister of State Somprakash. As part of pre-preparation for “World Yoga Day”, a meeting was held at Ektanagar Administrative Complex under the chairmanship of Himanshu Parikh, Additional Collector, SoUADTGA.

In the meeting, the Additional Collector Parikh reviewed the work done by the concerned departments and in this regard also briefed the concerned officials about the ancillary arrangements related to yoga protocol at the venue as well as basic facilities including parking, drinking water, health and sanitation, stage-mandap, live screen including sound system. Necessary instructions were given to arrange the arrangements. The Nodal Officer of the entire program and the District Sports Development Officer Vishnu Vasava apprised the Additional Collectors about the arrangements made.

In this meeting held to finalize the hectic preparations of “World Yoga Day”, SoUADTGA Deputy Collector Abhishek Sinha, Nandod Provincial Officer Shailesh Gokalani, CISF Deputy Commandant Nirbhay Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Police Vani Dudhat, Assistant Regional Transport Office Vehicle Inspector V.D. Asal , NIC’s forum jeweler along with the officers and staff of the concerned department were present.
