Ginger, which used to fetch ₹100 a kg, now fetches ₹200 a kg. The price of coriander has gone up to ₹400 a kg, which was earlier ₹100 a kg. The prices of vegetables have increased by about 30 to 45%. As the income of vegetables has decreased, the price of vegetables has increased, thus the budget of the housewives including the public has been disrupted. Earlier, a bag of vegetables was available for 200 rupees. That vegetable now costs 500 rupees. The budget of the housewives has been disrupted as the prices of vegetables have skyrocketed.
