In Amreli district, it is raining slowly and in some places it is raining heavily. It rained heavily in and around Wadiya city during the night. So, in Vadiya Survo Dam, there was 13 feet of fresh water in 12 hours. As a result, 80% of the dam was filled. So the system has declared an alert. The low-lying villages including Vadiya, Charania, which come under the dam, have been alerted. No movement has been given in the dam area and river area.

In Suryapratapgarh village of Wadiya, the check dam overflowed due to torrential rain. So that the water table in the surrounding area will go deep and agriculture will benefit. At a time when the farmers around this Vadiya were in need of water for the past several days, the farmers are feeling happy as they are getting water.

Wadiya Irrigation Section Officer BR Gameet said that due to forecast of Meteorological Department, about 6 inches of rain fell in the last 12 hours, now the dam is 80% full due to which the low-lying villages have been declared on alert. Due to rain showers in Amreli city, the roads have flooded again, people have got relief from the heat in the rainy weather.
