BJP on 8 seats and Congress on 3 seats
There are 11 Rajya Sabha seats in Gujarat. Out of all these seats eight seats are held by BJP and three by Congress. Before the Lok Sabha Election 2024, depending on the results of the Gujarat elections, the BJP may also get two seats from the Congress party. The reason behind this is that three members of Rajya Sabha of BJP S. Jaishankar, Jugalji Thakor and Dinesh Chandra Anawadia will retire in August 2023. BJP will not face any problem in winning these three seats.

On the other hand, four seats of Gujarat Rajya Sabha will fall vacant amid the Lok Sabha elections in April 2024 due to the retirement of four members. These members include BJP's Purushottam Rupala and Mansukh Mandaviya, while Congress' Naran Rathwa and Ami Yagnik. So in 2024, BJP will have an eye on these two seats of Congress.
Rajya Sabha Member S. Jaishankar
Given the BJP's majority in the assembly, it is easy to win all three seats
Based on the results of the Gujarat assembly, BJP will not have any difficulty in winning three seats, but the priority vote will be effective for the fourth seat. Apart from this, three members of BJP and one member of Congress are retiring in June 2026. It includes BJP's Rambhai Mokaria, Ramila Behan Bara, Narhari Amin, while Congress' Shaktisinh Gohil is involved. BJP can win all these four seats in 2026 with some hard work. Thus, BJP will have to wait till 2026 for all 11 Rajya Sabha seats in the state.
