In Vadodara city, the police have disposed of about 5 thousand pending cases in the last one and a half years. Based on the instructions given by the Commissioner of Police in Vadodara from April-2022, as of 2011, 10 years, 15 years, 20 years of court pending crimes under the Crime Prevention and Management Plan and Good Governance Project of Part 1 to 5 crimes filed at different police stations of Vadodara city. A campaign was undertaken under the Good Governance Project for speedy disposal of court pending offenses with a view to ensuring justice to the complainant or victim.

Among the crimes registered by Vadodara city police in each police station, which cases are pending in the court and for what reasons the case is pending, by contacting the court and checking the exact court pending reasons, the complainant or the victim under the Crime Prevention and Management Plan and the Good Governor Project. A campaign on disposal of court pending offenses was undertaken with a view to speedy justice and punishment of the culprits.

5043 crimes were disposed of by Namdar Court
Meanwhile, when the summons, warrant, notice, special process issued by the court were executed by the Vadodara City Police and coordinated with the Namdar Court, out of the total 8168 crimes pending in the court of parts 1 to 5, a total of 5043 crimes have been disposed of by the Namdar Court till date. There are also a total of 3125 cases pending disposal of which the proceedings are in progress for disposal of court pending offences. Besides, Nandesari, Lakshmipura, Warsiya, Harani, Sama, Cybercrime Police Stations are functioning after June-20111 so that the fact of court pending crime is nil.
