Two men of Kalatalav village of Valbhipur taluk of Bhavnagar district assaulted five farmers who were farming in this village and forcibly collected a ransom of 74 thousand. The farmers have filed a complaint against the accused in Valbhipur police station.
According to the information about the whole incident, there are many farmers who own agricultural lands in Kalatalavgam of Valbhipur taluka and some of these farmers live in Kalatalavgam and Valbhipur, in which Vijay alias Bhagat Devshi Ulva-Rabari and his brother Vipul alias Gudio Devashi Ulva living in Kalatalavgam are the plaintiff Kanji Odha. They told five farmers including Deora that why are you dumping waste in the waste land in the village, you have to pay the rent of these places and if you don’t pay, they threatened to kill you while demanding money. The farmers rushed to the Valbhipur police station to file a complaint against the two brothers after extorting a total of Rs.74,500 at different times, in which Kanji Odha Deora lodged a complaint and the police registered a case and conducted further investigation.
