The city SOG police raided E 28, Vasundhara tenement in TP-13 cantonment of the city and arrested two persons with 58.05 grams of heroin worth approximately Rs 2,90,250. The police found Rs 3,46,150 in cash and two mobile phones from both the accused and seized a total of Rs 6.36 lakh. There was a commotion in the society when the police raided.
Both the accused are natives of Punjab
According to the information received, the city SOG police received information that Sandip alias Sonu Balwindersig Randhawa and Jatindersig alias Happy Mehrsig Mattu, who were keeping a rented house of Minakshiben Makwana, were bringing and selling drugs at E 27, Vasundharra Tenement in the city’s TP-13 cantonment, 8 days ago. Based on the information SOG police raided. And seized 58.05 grams of heroin drugs from the house and arrested both of them. The police recovered Rs 3,46,150 cash from the body parts of both.
Other details will emerge in the inquiry
The police also sought the help of FSL to find out whether these narcotic substances are heroin drugs. According to information, Sandeep Randhawa and Jatindersig Mattu, who were picked up by the SOG police, have been arrested earlier in drug trafficking and they are currently free on bail. It cannot be ruled out that the interrogation of both the accused will reveal more shocking details. A case has been registered against both the accused under the NDPS Act at Fateganj police station.
