- Incidents of venomous animal bites increased as the rainy season prevailed
Nursingh Mori’s seven-year-old son Aryan, a farm laborer in the wadi of Sajantimba village of Lilia taluka of Amreli, was in the wadi at 11 o’clock on Saturday night when he was rushed to Rajkot hospital after being bitten by a scorpion on his right hand, but he died during the treatment and his brother Vikram Neenu Bhoi of Jalida, Wankaner. (A.W.26) He was also shifted to Rajkot Hospital after being bitten by a poisonous animal on his left leg while he was in Jalida at 3 o’clock on Saturday night but he died.
Apart from this, Vihesh Nanubhai Bhabhor (age 27), who was working as a mason at Bhaveshbhai’s construction site in Lothda, Rajkot, was at the said construction site at 2 o’clock on Saturday night when he was bitten by a poisonous animal and was shifted to Rajkot hospital due to poisoning. The police took action regarding the incident.
