- Two And A Half Inches Of Rain In Vijayanagar And Two And A Half Inches In The Provinces; Water Revenue In Talod’s Jawanpura And Gorthia Barrages

In the last 24 hours, rain was recorded everywhere in Sabarkantha district. Two and a half inches of rain fell in Vijayanagar and two and a half inches in Prantij. While Himmatnagar, Idar and Talod received half an inch of rain and Poshina-Wadali received showers.
With 62 mm of rain in Vijayanagara Panthak, check damo, ponds were fresh and polonu forest blossomed with natural beauty. A sense of joy was seen among the farmers who saw water coming into the river due to the inflow and outflow of water in Jawanpura and Gorthia barrages in Talod Panthak.
The details regarding this are that, in the last 24 hours, it rained everywhere in Sabarkantha district amidst the forecast of torrential rain. It rained in Himmatnagar amid unbearable steam and heat. Due to which the roads in the society area were flooded. Near Saraswat High School near Laxmipura Kampa in Himmatnagar, the road was flooded in front of Subjail, Tower Chowk. The citizens demanded that rain water drainage should be done by the municipality. Due to the rain during the day, people felt relief as the weather cooled down.
Heavy rains in the uplands caused water in the Meshvo river. Due to this, the flow of water started in Talod taluk freeflow, Jawanpura and Gorthia barrage on Meshvo river. In Jawanpura barrage, 560 cusecs of water is inflow and 560 cusecs of water is going out. While 400 cusecs of income and 400 cusecs of water are going out in Gorthia barrage. With which Meshvo river is flowing on two banks. A happy atmosphere has been seen among the farmers. On the other hand, villages like Chekhla, Antroli, Tajpur Camp have been instructed by the Mamlatdar not to go to the river bank.
