Patients coming for hemophilia treatment at KEM Hospital had to go to different departments for different tests. So considering the torture they face, KEM Hospital has now provided treatment and diagnosis to patients under one roof, at one place. A Hemophilia Center has been started at KEM Hospital every Wednesday from 11 AM to 1 PM. So patients are relieved.

Factor 8 and factor 9 components play an important role in blood clotting in the human body. However, since these two components are not present in hemophiliac patients, severe bleeding occurs inside their body, causing damage to joints, brain, muscles. So the patient has to bear a lot of pain. Hemophilia is a genetic disease. 60 percent of patients are genetic and 40 percent of patients have other causes of this disease. At present 20 thousand patients of hemophilia have been registered in the country. This disease is not noticed because the symptoms are not visible. Therefore, 90 percent of patients with hemophilia go undiagnosed.

These patients who have come to the hospital for treatment have to move to different departments for examination. So keeping in mind the torture they face, a Hemophilia Center has been started every Wednesday between 11 AM to 1 AM at KEM Hospital. Due to this, the patient will get guidance at one place and the further treatment will be easy, informed Dr. KEM Hospital Dean. Music was given by Sangeeta Rawat.
