Yesterday, shopkeepers around the one-way from Yagnik Road to New Jagannath protested by closing their shops and demanding withdrawal of the notification. Then today, traders on Sardarnagar main road collectively protested the announcement of one more one-way.

Locals complain of problems in commuting
A trader said that apart from the main market of Jagnath area, there is also a commercial residential area. Hence the residents here also have to commute several times during the day. So every time one has to go from Yagnik Road towards Dastur Marg or till Kisanpara. Apart from this, where the people who come for shopping keep their vehicles is a big question. Due to which business has been affected. Hence, it has been submitted with the demand that the police commissioner withdraw this one-way notification immediately.

Police are taking various decisions to solve the traffic problem
