A Jatra of Amarnath Baba was arranged by the tour organizer of Valsad district. The second Amarnath yatri bus was dispatched from the district this year with pilgrims for the darshan of Baba Amarnath. For the last 14 years in Valsad town, buses are being run for Baba Amarnath jatra by Muslim tour operators. Every year Hindu devotees are bussed like family members for Baba Amarnath darshan by a Muslim tour operator for a nominal fee. Since Amarnath Yatra has a special importance in Hinduism, every pilgrim joins this Yatra in large numbers.

The first Amarnath Yatra tour was started from Valsad in 1996 by Arif Khan (aka Babubhai Buswala), owner of Gulzar Travel in Valsad. For the past 14 years, he has been organizing special tours for the Hindu brothers and sisters of Valsad district to visit Baba Amarnath. Passengers are offered darshan of Vaishna Devi, Ambaji, Haridwar along with darshan of Amarnath Baba for a nominal fee. Along with him, he goes to all places and feels blessed. For the last 14 years, Arif Khan himself has been going with everyone to visit Baba Amarnath and the bus operator says that these tours have been taken up especially for the poor and middle class people because the poor and middle class people spend more money to visit Amarnath Baba. For those who cannot go due to this reason, the tour is taken at such a low price. It has also provided a unique example of Hindu Muslim brotherhood.
