A complaint of theft of 119 iPhones worth Rs 77 lakh from the office of a mobile phone dealer in the posh IIM area of ​​Ahmedabad has been registered at the Gujarat University Police Station. Police have conducted further investigation on the basis of CCTV.

There were 350 mobiles in 10 boxes
According to the received details, Apoorva Bhatt residing in Ghatlodia area, according to the complaint registered in Gujarat University Police Station, he is Vybal Recommerce India Pvt. The office is on the sixth floor of Eye Vision Complex at Panjarapol Char Rasta. Where they do the business of buying and selling mobile phones in wholesale. As stated in the complaint, he closed his office on June 3 last around seven o’clock in the evening. After that, his godown in-charge Nilesh Shah came to the office around a quarter to five in the evening to deliver the mobile phone in the morning. Apoorva Bhatt had ordered iPhone-13 128 GB No. 100 and iPhone-14 128 GB No. 250 from him. A total of 350 mobile phones were ordered in 10 boxes. After getting the phone delivered, Nilesh Shah locked the office and left at around half past five.

Entry by breaking office door
Nilesh came to the office at 8:30 in the morning on 5th June and found that the lock of the outer door of the office had been broken with some tool and the door was also open. Nilesh called Apoorva and informed that there was a theft in the office. So Apoorva immediately reached the office. Things were scattered in the office. The vault was also open. 63 thousand 500 rupees cash was stolen from the safe. On the other hand, 119 iPhones were also stolen. A total of 77 lakh 39 thousand 800 was stolen in the office. People including Apoorva checked the CCTV and found that an unknown person was stealing and leaving. The police have started investigating the theft incident based on the CCTV footage.
