With the onset of rainy season, the series of dilapidated buildings in Bharuch district has started from Jambusar. Due to the collapse of a part of the one and a half hundred year old building, the movement of people has also become dangerous.
In Jambusar’s Gokallalani Khadki area, the wall of an old dilapidated house is collapsing due to the rainy weather, forcing the locals to move at the risk of their lives. A dilapidated house of 100 to 150 years old is situated in the Khadki area of Goklala in Jambusar. The door of the house was sold by the owner of the house when the wall next to the door suddenly collapsed in the rainy weather. So there was a rush among the locals. Due to the collapse of the wall, the locals have been forced to move at the risk of their lives. Also, when another wall is about to collapse, there is a demand that the municipal system should take appropriate measures.
Like Bharuch, Ankleshwar Municipality, Jambusar Nagar also issued notices to dilapidated houses like every year. The system had discharged its responsibility by sending notices to the building owners to remove their dangerous houses. Now in Bharuch district, the locals living around such buildings want the system to take action before the dilapidated building becomes a victim or causes an accident during the monsoon season.
