Bhadar – 1 dam near Lilakha village of Gondal taluka is filled to the prescribed level. When the water level of 32 feet was observed in Bhadar Dam, 3 gates of Bhadar Dam were opened by 3 feet. Bhadar Dam has a water yield of 1,58,470 cusecs. While 2800 cusecs of water has been observed. An increase in water revenue is being seen. 2 villages coming under the dam have been alerted.

We can maintain 32 feet dam surface in this month
According to the ruler level of Bhadar Dam, we have been able to fill 32 feet dam in this month. Monsoon is still pending. The water level of Bhadar Dam can be maintained at 32 feet till the month of July. Any inflow of water in the surface above 32 feet will have to be discharged. This has been informed by flood control.

As many as 22 villages were alerted from flood control
Lilakha, Masitala, Bhandaria, Khambhalida, Navagam, Monpar, Khirsara, Derdi, Jetpur, Nawagarh, Rabarika, Sardharpur, Panchapipla, Keradi, Lunagara, Lunagri, Wadsada village of Gondal taluka, Tarwada and Ishwariya village of Jamkandorana taluka, Vegdi, Khuchi and U of Dhoraji taluka. Villagers of villages including Markot were instructed by the flood control not to move in the river bed and to be careful in the low-lying areas.
