- Court Rejects Bail Plea Of Main Accused Supervisor, Accepts Public Prosecutor’s Argument That He Had Hatched A Conspiracy To Stop Industrial Development

The court has rejected the bail plea filed by the supervisor of the prime accused in the indiscriminate firing and vandalism of 20 vehicles for a multi-crore company contract in Jangdia GIDC. On June 3, one group fired 10 rounds against another group and vandalized more than 20 vehicles near the Aarti Industries gate of the Jangiya GIDC over a multi-crore company contract.
In the serious incident, the police lodged an FIR and arrested 22 persons including the main accused, Jaimin Patel, and remanded them and seized weapons including a pistol and 5 cars. After completing the remand of the accused, they were sent to judicial custody. Meanwhile, the accused Dhawal Patodiya filed a bail application.
In the hearing conducted regarding the bail application of accused Dhaval Gopalbhai Patodia, public prosecutor Paresh Pandya argued that the accused had hatched a conspiracy to stop industrial development by spreading terror. Moreover, Avo Dhawal, the supervisor of the main accused Jaymin Patel, was present at the spot at the time of the incident. A clip of objectionable conversation has been found from his mobile. It was argued that there is a need for investigation. Taking into consideration the arguments of the public prosecutor, the court rejected the bail application of the accused.
