The police staff including the PI of Dhrangadhra taluka police station laid a trap and seized a Swift car with 424 bottles of foreign liquor from the Dhrangadhra Dhrumath highway. The Dhrangadhra taluka police seized Rs 3.03 lakh in this raid and set the wheels in motion to nab the absconding car driver.

The police staff including PI UL Vaghela and PSI BK Maruda of Dhrangadhra taluk police station under the guidance of J.D. Purohit, Dhrangadhra Dysp, were patrolling on Dhrangadhra Dhrumath Highway and on the basis of a tip-off, a white colored Swift car that had left in a suspicious condition, Dhrangadhra Court Highway. The car driver managed to run away by leaving the car on the road and taking a U-turn towards Dhrangadhra while the traffic was on the road.

Dhrangadhra taluka police conducted an intensive search of this swift car and found bottles of different brands of foreign liquor, slippers and beer tins, which were being carried illegally without pass permit, total bottles number- 424, worth Rs. 53,864 and the white color Swift car is priced at Rs. 2,50,000 found a total of Rs. 3,03,864 has set the wheels in motion to nab the accused including the absconding car driver. In this raid of Dhrangadhra Taluka Police, PI UL Vaghela, PSI BK Maruda, Mahaveer Singh Chauhan and Nareshbhai Bhojia were present along with the police staff. Further investigation of the case is being conducted by Dhrangadhra Taluka PSI BK Maruda.
