A racket of creating bogus Indian Aadhaar cards was busted in Surat yesterday. Along with this, the police arrested 5 accused. Now whose Aadhaar cards have been produced by the police and are reaching them. The police have set up a watch in Udhana area and arrested the accused Sahib Ali Arman Sheikh. From whom a bogus Aadhaar card was created in the network seized.

In Sanjay Nagar near Puna Umarwada Nawa Kamela, Gulshan found some people gathered in a shop named AK Mobile under Raza Masjid, who were making fake identity proofs and also making Aadhak cards to the people who did not have any kind of proofs through computers and laptops. The police also sent a dummy customer for verification. Meanwhile, SOG and PCB police raided here after verification. Police raided here and arrested 5 accused.

Fake Aadhaar card made for 3 thousand
​​​​​​​51-year-old accused Sahib Ali Arman Sheikh said in the police interrogation that he is a native of Bangladesh and he was living in Mandarwaja area after crossing the border of Bangladesh illegally in 2020. Meanwhile, to establish his Indian identity, in the year 2021, he made a fake Aadhaar card from Amad alias Lakhan Mohammad Khan and Mehbub Yakub Sheikh from a shop called “AK Mobile” under Gulshan-e-Raja Masjid near New Kamela Sanjaynagar, Pune for 3 thousand rupees.

Aamd alias Lakhan Mohammad Khan, Mehboob Yakub Sheikh, Wasim Badruddin Sheikh, Noor Wazir Syed and Saqlain Naimbhai Patel of the duplicate Aadhaar card making gang were raided in the AK Mobile shop. This gang used to edit any document in Photoshop of their laptop or computer for Rs.1500 to Rs.3000.

Take help of FSL to recover password protected files
​​​​​​​The police seized 163 Aadhaar cards, 44 PAN cards, 167 election cards, 85 birth certificates and various other documents from him and recovered a total worth of Rs 3.27 lakh and sought the help of FSL to recover the password protected files found in his laptop and computer bean folder.

Among the five who have been running this activity for six years, Saqlain Naimbhai Patel and Noor Wazir Syed, who are authorized agents for making Aadhaar cards, use their IDs to create documents for those who need bogus documents, including Bangladeshis.
