Chetanbhai Gopalbhai Rajani (aged 57) living in Balmukund Society on Sadhu Vaswani Road, Rajkot city, locked the door from inside his office at Sorath Plaza Complex in Bhaktinagar station plot and tied a rope to a fan and took a trap. Investigating the incident, two friends of the businessman lured him to double the amount in five years.

Chetanbhai used to trade ropes and notebooks with an office at Sorath Plaza Complex in Bhaktinagar station plot. On Thursday, Chetanbhai’s son and wife reached the office, suspecting that Chetanbhai was not receiving the phone despite calling several times. Chetanbhai’s boots were lying outside the office, but after knocking several times, there was no response from inside, after breaking the door lock, Chetanbhai’s body was found hanging.

A suicide note was found in the businessman’s office
Regarding this incident, Palas Rajani, son of the deceased businessman, lodged a complaint with the A-Division police against Rajesh Goslia, a resident of Harikripa Township on Sharda Mandir Road, Ahmedabad, and Amit Gokani of Rajkot. Palas Rajani said in the complaint that after the suicide incident of his father Chetanbhai Rajani, a suicide note written by Chetanbhai was found while checking the office. In which it was said, Chetanbhai’s old friend Rajesh Goslia living in Ahmedabad in the year 2018-19 received Rs. 7 crores were taken.

It was further added that Rajesh Goslia, who works in stock market trading, had promised Rs 15 crore to Chetanbhai in January 2023 in lieu of Rs 7 crore. Also, Amit Gokani of Rajkot took one and a half crore rupees and promised to give three crores in 2023.

Both the friends asked several times
After the end of January, Chetanbhai demanded money from his two friends. But both of them refused to give the amount. Chetanbhai Rajani, who was in the business of exporting notebooks, was in need of money for the business, despite several requests from both friends, he did not get the money back and it was time to take money from other people for the business.

Police searched for the accused on the basis of suicide note

Chetanbhai Rajani also recorded his financial transactions in the book in which he wrote the suicide note. The police seized the suicide note and on the basis of the evidence including the suicide note, registered a case of forcing suicide against Rajesh Goslia of Ahmedabad and Amit Gokani of Rajkot and started searching for both the accused.
