The electronic shop in Mogri village of Anand taluka was locked and the shutters were broken last night and the sound system and other electronic items placed in the shop were found and the smugglers fled after stealing votes worth 1.97 lakh. A complaint of the incident has been registered at Vidyanagar Police Station.

Theft incidents are increasing continuously in Anand. Gangs of thieves are challenging the police but the police system seems to be working with a lax policy. According to the information received, Gana of Anand taluka lives on Mogri road and the complainant Chetanbhai Jasbhai Chauhan has an electronic shop in Mogri village. Late last night, the smugglers targeted their shop, broke the shutters of the shop, entered the shop, found the sound system and electronic items placed in the shop and stole the same worth Rs.1.97 lakhs and fled. When Chetanbhai Chauhan came to know about this in the morning, he went to the shop and investigated and found that the sound system and electronic items were stolen. So they filed a complaint at Vidyanagar police station and the police registered a case of theft and took further action.
