A joint initiative of District Employment Exchange Office Porbandar and Indian Coast Guard organized seminars in various schools of the district on the basis of Indian Coast Guard Week. In this seminar, Assistant Commandant of Indian Coast Guard Karthikeyan gave information and guidance to the students of various schools/colleges of the district about career in Indian Coast Guard, Indian Coast Guard operations and various duties of Indian Coast Guard. And the qualification and physical criteria required to make a career in Indian Coast Guard were discussed. They gave information about various ships, helicopters and other equipment of the Coast Guard. In this seminar, information and guidance was given through audio-video.
This seminar was organized by Sigma Public School-Pipdia, M.A.M. School, Government High School-Ranawav, Navyug Vidyalaya-Porbandar, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya-Porbandar, Dr. V.R.Godhania College-Porbandar, Gurukul Mahila College-Porbandar and The District Education and Training Building was held at Porbandar. The entire program was organized under the coordination and guidance of Employment Officer Dinesh Parmar. Also the program was conducted by Career Counselor Chirag Dave.
