Ahmedabad: Vadodara Police has arrested a person who lured not one or two but 100 girls out of love and cheated them. This man had been luring girls through matrimonial sites for the last eight years after Pyar found himself betrayed. Diljale Aashiq has taken money from girls living not only in Vadodara but also in different parts of the country by talking of love to them. The police arrested the accused and presented him in the court. The court has given five days’ remand to the police. According to Vadodara Police, this person, who lured girls into the trap of love and extorted money from them, will be interrogated in detail.
The fraudster used to change his name
Vadodara Police had received some complaints of cheating through matrimonial websites. When the cyber crime branch of the police investigated them, a kind of modus operandi came to light. After this, when the police investigated the things in detail, they came to know about a young man named Rohit Singh. According to ACP Hardik Makadiya of Cyber Crime Branch of Vadodara Police, the name of the accused is Rohit Singh. The accused made more than 100 girls his victims not only from Gujarat but from all over the country. The accused started hating girls after being cheated in love. He was cheating and blackmailing girls for the last 8 years. The accused earned lakhs of rupees. According to the police, investigation has revealed that he creates his profile by changing his name. In this he described himself as a judge, doctor, engineer and businessman. Used to post pictures with expensive cars on social media to impress girls. After this, he would contact the women, take their private photographs and then blackmail them. Vadodara Police has arrested this accused from Bhopal.
Accused Rohit used to call himself a businessman on social media. He used to introduce himself to some people as a judge and an officer. A few days ago, a woman lodged a case of fraud worth lakhs of rupees with Vadodara Police. By luring her into the web of friendship and love, he had asked for some private photographs of the woman. Through these photographs, he started blackmailing the victim. At present the police has arrested the accused in the case.

According to the police, the accused named Rohit Singh was in love with a girl. This enraged Rohit Singh and the fire of revenge was so strong in his mind that he started cheating and robbing the girls. According to the police, the accused is educated and very tech savvy. Taking advantage of this, he used to collect information about girls from matrimonial sites and then befriend them and trap them in his love. After that, he used to loot lakhs of rupees from him by threatening and coaxing.
