A bypass connecting Amreli Mahuva Road was built in Savarkundla, but the work of this bypass, which is already in dispute, has been done so poorly that only four months after it was opened, there are gaps on the road. And the road is starting to settle.

Road works in Amreli district seem to be the easiest source of money for the corrupt. Due to the involvement of all the people from the party workers to the government system, most of the road works in the district are getting weaker. In some places, the road collapses every year. Cement roads built in Amreli city have also broken during the guarantee period itself. Now this is happening in the matter of Savarkundla bypass.

This bypass has been started only four months ago. Vehicles are also running on it in very less number. It has not even rained in monsoon yet. So there is no reason to break this road. However, huge potholes have fallen everywhere in the bypass. It is being seen that this bypass, built at the cost of crores of rupees, was not completed during the current monsoon. This highway is in such a bad condition that a serious accident can occur if the driver takes the slightest notice. The extent is that no care is taken to repair this broken road.

Shame on the corrupt: Rodney’s side also sat down
The sides of the bypass road have also started to sit. Because of this, there is a constant fear of a serious accident on this bypass. Sometimes there are such deep potholes that vehicles like bikes are afraid of overturning.

Already in controversy is the bypass
The work of this bypass was suspended for a decade and a half. Also, permission has not been received to construct a gate on it. The road work has also become weak. The road building department had also wrongly installed direction boards here.
