Vadhavan Swaminarayan Temple has a very ancient history. This temple dedicated to Lord Swaminarayan is situated on the banks of Bhogava River. Which is built by stones brought from Vaghela village. Dhrangadhra and Ahmedabad temples are also built under this temple. With the blessings and orders of Mahant Madhavendra Prasadji of Vadwan Swaminarayan Temple, the construction of canteen and Sant Ashram has been completed. This Kunjvihari canteen and Sant Ashram was inaugurated on 1st July.

Acharya Madhvendraprasadji, Acharya Hdayendraprasadji, Vadwan Thakor Saheb Chaitanyadevsinhji, Union Minister Dr. Mahendra Munjpara, MLA Jagdishbhai Makwana were present on this occasion. A modern canteen has been built in the Vadhwan Swaminarayan temple. Arrangements have been made in which 10 thousand devotees can have food at the same time. Free food will be provided to devotees and saints in this canteen. Apart from this, arrangements have been made in the canteen to feed 5,000 women and 5,000 men.

Acharya Madhvendra Prasad Swami of Vadwan Swaminarayan Temple wanted to do something for the sadhu saints. Then a Sant Ashram has been built in Vadwan Swaminarayan Temple. This Sant Ashram has Hospitalization system. Facilities including doctor, medicine and oxygen have been kept so that any sadhu saint can be treated while staying in the ashram. 10 thousand devotees from across the state gathered in this inauguration.
