Ahmedabad: The controversy that started in August regarding derogatory pictures of Hanuman ji in Sarangpur (Salangpur) does not seem to be ending. There is great resentment among the sages and saints of Sanatana Dharma over the adamant stand of the Swaminarayan sect on the insult of Hanuman ji. The saints held a meeting in Ahmedabad in which they announced to boycott the Swaminarayan sect. So on the second day the situation remained tense in Sarangpurdham located in Botad also. All the gates to enter the temple remained closed. So in the afternoon, Hindu sages and saints reached the temple with five hundred supporters and demanded the removal of the controversial pictures of Hanuman, but the police pacified them and returned them. By the evening, due to RSS leader Ram Madhav being in Sarangpur, the matter of Sangh’s entry in the whole controversy also came to light. Late in the evening, an official statement was issued by Shri Kashtbhanjandev Hanumandev Temple.
