The Sabarkantha Local Crime Branch team seized Poshdoda worth Rs 8,21,100 from a white car near Garhoda village and arrested a juvenile. In the A-Division police station, a case was registered against the driver of the absconding vehicle and the arrested child accused under the NDPS Act and a total of Rs 16,31,450 was seized.
According to the information received from the sources of the local crime branch, around Thursday night, the team of the local crime branch was patrolling in the vicinity of Garhoda village on the Talod road from Sabarderi. Meanwhile, a white car was coming from the front while approaching Oracle Ceramic factory. The driver of the car saw the police car and sped away on the singlepatti road opposite the Oracle Ceramic Factory. So the police got suspicious and chased him. However, as the road to Sagar Society was being completed, the driver of the vehicle stopped the vehicle and the other person with him started running through the cultivated fields. A juvenile was chased and taken away. However, the driver of the car escaped. When the police interrogated the juvenile, they said that the amount of Poshdoda was brought in the car filled with Nimach from Madhya Pradesh. When the police searched the car, they found 273.700 kg of Posdoda worth Rs 8,21,100 in a black plastic bag number 18.
According to the child juvenile accused that the name of the car driver was Vikram Jat, the police found the amount of Poshdoda, mobile phone and the car and confiscated the total amount of Rs.
Four plates with different numbers were recovered from the car
A team of Sabarkantha Local Crime Branch found four number plates with different car numbers while checking the amount of Poshdoda in the speeding car. The driver of the car was using the juvenile in the trafficking of narcotic drugs and was bringing this amount to Gujarat from Nimjam of Madhya Pradesh. At that time, the police also got information about the modus operandi of the people who manipulated Poshdoda and conducted an investigation.
