A water-bombing situation is being observed in Ghed Panthak of Mangrol. After the heavy rains in Junagadh, there was heavy flooding in Ozat river. Due to which the water of the river entered Ghed Panthak. A water-bombing situation has arisen in many villages. At that time, Osagam is flooded. So all the roads in the village are closed. The road from Balagam to Osa village was flooded. So the villagers are suffering a lot to go to other places. People are moving from one place to another with the help of JCB. The old man was taken to hospital at Balagam with the help of a JCB after the animal bit him at Osa village.
Vehicles including bikes and cars cannot enter the village
Ojat river has flooded in Ghed Panthak of Mangrol. Many villages of Ghed Panthak are flooded. Several roads in the village are blocked. So people are suffering a lot to go from one place to another. The road from Balagam to Osa village was completely closed. Water is being seen on the road. So vehicles including bikes and cars cannot enter the village. People are moving from one place to another only with the help of JCB. Even in times of emergency, JCB is seen as an ambulance. Emergency services are being provided to people with the help of JCB. In rural areas, standing crops of farmers have been inundated for the last eight days. So the farmers are also in trouble.
All road blocks of the village
In this regard, the local said that all the roads are closed in our village now. There was heavy rain in Junagadh. So the water of Ojat river has come to our village. An old man had to be rushed to the hospital with the help of a JCB bitten animal. We have to resort to JCB to move from one place to another.
Widening of river and lake in Ghed Panthak Will be done
It is worth mentioning that the Ghede area has been facing the problem of waterlogging for years. Then the Chief Minister has held a meeting yesterday to conduct a survey in the Ghed area to solve the problem of rainwater inundation in the Ghed area. Instructions have also been given to widen the river and lake. This formula can be adopted during water harvesting campaign in the future. The Chief Minister gave this instruction in a meeting at the Disaster Center.

In Mangrol taluka of Junagadh district, a water-bombing situation occurred in the villages of Ghed sub-division recently due to torrential rains. In which Ghodar village is also included. Ghodadar village and the road leading out of the village were now waterlogged. Meanwhile, a person from the village had to be rushed to the hospital on Friday due to shortness of breath. But, there was no condition for 108 or other vehicles to come to the village. Because of this, the local people picked up the sick person in a cot and took him to the hospital in Mekhdi village after walking 5 km in the Kedsama water.
Thousands of chickens died in Jariawada
Due to torrential rains in Mangarol taluka, rainwater entered the poultry farm in Jariawada. Thousands of chickens died in cages due to rain water. The manager of the poultry farm dug a huge pit with the help of JCB and buried all the chickens and disposed of the dead bodies. The manager of the poultry farm sought help from the government.
Flood situation was also seen in Matiana village
A few days ago, Matiana village of Manavadar, which is a village of Ghed division, in which the water of Ojat river overflowed, so that the village is witnessing a water bombardment situation. The impact has been seen in seven villages including Matiana, Ambalia, Padari. Every monsoon, the villages of this area get flood situation and people get disturbed. The village was full of water. Not only in the village roads, but also in people’s houses, water was seen like rivers flowing.
In Junagadh on Saturday, Meghraja performed a ritual
Junagadh district was visited by Meghraja yesterday. Due to which the condition of the district became very serious. Yesterday, within two hours, Meghraja had declared that the entire city of Junagadh had turned into a sea. The rush of water shook the people of Junagadh. Most of the areas were waterlogged. Many cars, bikes, cabin racks were stretched in the flow of water. Water also entered people’s houses. So people climbed on the roof of the house. Apart from this, many talukas including Mangrol, Mania Hatina, Manavdar of Junagadh have also suffered a lot due to rain. In particular, the overflowing of the water of Ozat river and the saline dam of Manavdar Batwa caused desolation in the rural areas of this taluk. The village was flooded with water. In Ghed Panthak, land and water were found.
