CTM four roads carry heavy vehicular traffic from all four directions. Thousands of people move under the double-decker overbridge. Railings along with barricades have been put up on CTM four roads, though one side remains open. From where school children, people and two-wheeler drivers were seen leaving. Due to the barricade, if the motorist wants to go from Ramol to Naroda, he has to go under the bridge after taking a U-turn from the expressway four way to Naroda. Barricades have been put up by the traffic police to prevent traffic jams in the village, but motorists were seen going under the bridge on the wrong side of the BRTS corridor towards Naroda.

Fear of accidents due to drivers going on the wrong side
Further investigation revealed that there is a traffic police post on the CTM four road. The traffic signals installed on the four roads were also found to be off. Many people were going from the wrong side. While some people were crossing the road even though there was a barricade, they were going towards the opposite side. It is learned that these barricades and railings have been put up by the police in coordination with the Municipal Corporation and local corporators to deal with the traffic problem. But local traders and people allege that due to the installation of these barricades, people are being harassed. Due to drivers going on the wrong side, the problem of traffic is aggravated with accidents. People come more on the wrong side.

A point has been placed there by the traffic police. This decision has been taken due to the fact that people used to go to the wrong side more and there was a traffic jam situation.

If there is a question of traffic jam then why these two overbridges have been built at the cost of crores of rupees. A police post is located just 10 meters away from the four road. If the police are saying this, why can’t they control the traffic jam? This is just a matter of taking people hostage.

A person named Rakeshkumar Vaishnav said that the business of about 400 traders has been destroyed due to the installation of barricades on CTM four roads. These barricades have been installed due to traffic jams, but one of its major disadvantages is that 70 percent of people pass under it from the wrong side. Due to which there is a possibility of more accidents.
