Vadodara M.S. University of Baroda Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya Professor Dr. The book ‘Atharvavediyya Rishinam Vivechanam’ written by Kapildev Harekrishna Shastri has been awarded first prize in Gujarat Sahitya Akademi, Gandhinagar in June-year-2023.

Home Minister and Culture Minister Harsh Sanghvi along with the Chairman, Director of Gujarat Sanskrit Sahitya Akademi and Chancellors of various Universities of Gujarat State along with many eminent poets, scholars and artists on the ‘Ashadhasya first day’ of Sanskrit festival by Gujarat Sanskrit Sahitya Akademi, Gandhinagar at Gujarat University, Ahmedabad on Monday 19th June. Dr. Kapildev Harekrishna Shastri, an expert in all four Vedas and a distinguished Vedic scholar of Atharva Veda, has been honored with the best book award. Which is a matter of great pride for the entire Sanskrit world and for the world famous Maharaja Sayajirao University in the cultured city of Vadodaran.

Criticized the book
Vedic mantras were discussed in this book. which is appropriated by reciting the sages, deities and verses of the mantras regularly before chanting, reading and havan etc., introducing the examples of the sages associated with the mantras Critical of each sage situated in the Atharvaveda from the Vedic to the mundane in simple Sanskrit language This book has been criticized so that the importance and subject matter of this book can be reached even till now.

More than 60 research papers published at national and international level. Librarian Dr. Kapildev Shastri has authored 25 volumes in the last 17 years and so far 15 books have been awarded by various academic and government institutions and more than 60 research papers have been published at national and international levels and also 30 research papers have been awarded by various institutions and more than 70 Presented research papers in national and international seminars. So far more than 20 Vedic and Sanskrit honors and awards have been received.

Researches on new topics in the Vedas
Atharvaveda Shaunakashakha and Shuklayajurveda Kanvashakha as well as in Karmkand also many students are engaged in teaching work in various institutes in various fields in appropriate positions. Currently Dr. Shastri is doing many types of research in the Vedas related to science, botany, architecture, ecology, technology in the Vedas, environment, ecology and researching on new topics in the Vedas by connecting with experts in those subjects. Nitya Vedaparayana, Havan, Pancha Mahayajna, Karmaja Vyadhinirodha also achieves success by working through ritual Atharvavedic Atharvan astrology based on Atharvaveda and Ayurveda.
