Surendranagar LCB team raided a foreign liquor cutting on the outskirts of Sedla village on a tip-off and recovered a truck, a bolero and 4536 bottles of foreign liquor worth Rs. 34 lakhs worth of money was recovered. In which the Surendranagar LCB has launched a raid to nab the truck and bolero driver, including two men from Gediya who escaped with the goods.

During the patrolling with the police staff including PI VV Trivedi of Surendranagar LCB, it was confirmed that Sohrabkhan Bismilakhan Malek and Sahir Khan Alikhan Malek of Gediya village of Patdi taluk have ordered quantity of foreign liquor without illegal pass permit in the truck. And it was found that on the highway from Malvan to Surendranagar, in the vicinity of Sedla village, on the old dirt road from Ramapir temple to Alipir dargah, the truck was kept in a deserted place and the quantity of foreign liquor filled in it was cut into other vehicles through its cigarettes.

On the basis of the information, the police staff including the Surendranagar LCB PI conducted a sudden raid on the basis of the information and the cutting of foreign liquor being done by the accused was arrested red-handed. And the truck from the place of raid by Surendranagar LCB team cost Rs. 15 lakh, Bolero car price Rs. 3 lakhs, foreign liquor whiskey bottles No.- 2,220 Price Rs. 8,32,500, Small Bottles of Whiskey No- 528 Price Rs. 52,800 and whiskey bottles number-1,788 cost Rs. 7,15,200 received total Rs. 34,00,500 and action has been taken. In which Sohrab Khan Bismila Khan Malek and Sahir Khan Ali Khan Malek of Gediya village, including the truck and bolero driver, who sent the quantity of foreign liquor, and all those whose names are revealed in the investigation, the Bajana police station has registered a crime related to alcohol and set the wheels in motion to arrest them. In this raid of Surendranagar LCB, P.I. VV Trivedi, Chamanbhai Jashrajbhai, Govindbhai Alabhai, Bhupendrakumar Jinabhai and Anirudh Singh Bharatsinh Jhala were present along with the police staff. Further investigation of the case is being conducted by Bajana PSI SP Jhala.
