What is PM Mitra Mega Textile Park Scheme?
The Union Ministry of Textiles has organized seven PMs in seven states including Vansi Borsi of Navsari in Gujarat. Mitra Park is approved. A total of 7 Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel (PM MITRA) Parks, one in each of the 7 states of the country, will be implemented at a cost of Rs.4445 crore. Unprecedented response of industrialists: demanded six times the land
Industrialists have given unprecedented response to the invitation of Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC). GIDC has received 6 times the demand against the total allocable area of ​​the park. That is, a proposal demanding 3600 acres of land against the allotable area of ​​about 600 acres has been received. It may be noted that as per the guidelines of the Central Government, the land for the park has been allotted by the State Government to the GIDC at a token rate.

will fulfill the vision of self-reliant India
The PM Mitra Yojana will fulfill the Prime Minister’s vision of ‘Self-reliant India’ and put India at the forefront of the global map of the textile industry. Mitra Park will create an integrated textile value chain from spinning, weaving, processing/dyeing and printing to garment manufacturing at one location, under one umbrella. This integrated textile value chain will reduce the logistics costs of the industry. The Union Ministry of Textiles has selected the sites for the park based on high criteria. 18 states of the country sent proposals for setting up textile parks, including availability of contiguous and encumbered land of more than 1000 acres, road and rail connectivity, available ecosystem, state government’s textile and industry policy, infrastructure and utility facilities, and P.M. 7 out of 18 state proposals were accepted considering criteria like implementation of Gati Shakti Yojana.

PM Mitra Park will be realized in which state
Parks will be realized in the seven selected states of Tamil Nadu (Virudhunagar), Telangana (Warangal), Gujarat (Navsari), Karnataka (Kalaburgi), Madhya Pradesh (Dhar), Uttar Pradesh (Lucknow) and Maharashtra (Amravati).

10 thousand crores will be invested in each park
P.M. Center and states will work in JV-Joint Venture mode and SPVs-Special Purpose Vehicle mode to set up Mitra Park. The state government will contribute 51 percent and the central government will contribute 49 percent of the equity. Textile industrialists will be attracted to invest Rs.10 thousand crores in each park. The ‘PM Mitra’ parks will be developed in Public Private Partnership (PPP) mode through a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), owned by the Central and State Governments. Each park will have an incubation center, common processing house and common effluent treatment plant and other textile related facilities like design centers and testing centers. An incubation center is an organization that helps entrepreneurs develop their business and solve related problems, especially Early-stage startups provide a range of business and technical services, including initial funding, laboratory facilities, mentors, and networks.
