Haj pilgrims from Gujarat including Godhra have faced many problems during this year’s pilgrimage. When the pilgrims from Gujarat reached Madinah from Makkah yesterday after paying according to the rules, the hotel was given to them. He created a ruckus by not providing a hotel and went on a rampage on the public roads in Madinah. Relatives living in India were worried about this. He also expressed his anger against the Gujarat State Haj Committee. In all, 900 pilgrims, including those from Godhra, had to face the problem.

Hajj pilgrims from Gujarat and Godhra have faced a lot of trouble due to the disorder this year. A total of Rs 3,72,000 was paid by the pilgrims this year to go on the Hajj pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia. However, Gujarat State Haj Committee seems to have failed in providing the facility.

Hajj pilgrims from Makkah reached Madinah yesterday. Pilgrims were outraged as they were allotted other hotels with inconvenient facilities against the hotel they were told. He refused to take the hotel after making a fuss about it. Pilgrims stood for hours outside hotels at Madinah. Women also stood on the public road with the same. After the intervention of the Saudi police, the matter was settled after 12 hours. Hajio entered the hotel after another hotel was allotted to him at Madinah.
