Biparjoy, a powerful cyclone formed in the Arabian Sea, is moving towards Gujarat. In the last 24 hours it has assumed a more ferocious form. It may hit Gujarat coast by June 14-15. On Monday, the people of Sheel Bandar in Junagadh refused to evacuate and did not support the system. Then after the report presented by Divya Bhaskar, the system started running and today the Minister of State Jagdish Panchal reached the place. Where more than 500 locals were ready to migrate after persuasion. As many as seven pregnant women are also among the displaced.

2500 people were evacuated after Divya Bhaskar’s report
In conversation with Divya Bhaskar, the evacuees said, we got an idea of the situation after reading Divya Bhaskar’s reports yesterday. The system was running after the report. The system and the sarpanch of our village worked hard. We are thankful to Divya Bhaskar. So the Minister of State Jagdish Panchal said that people have migrated after persuasion. With the help of local MLAs and leaders, 509 people were evacuated in Junagadh district till yesterday evening. While today approximately 2000 people have been found, about 2500 people have been shifted to the cyclone center. Where all arrangements including water, light and food packets have been made. No damage done yet.
73 pregnant women from coastal villages of Jamnagar were evacuated
Widespread measures are being taken by the Health Branch of Jamnagar in connection with Biparjoy Cyclone. At that time, 73 pregnant women were evacuated from dangerous and dangerous areas near the coast and referred to the nearest health center. Of these 73, 9 pregnant women had successful deliveries at health centers and were provided with safe shelter. More than 10,000 food packets are being prepared by Jamnagar 78 Assembly MLA Rivaba Jadeja. These food packets will be distributed to needy people.

People have been evacuated from coastal areas in Kutch, Porbandar, Dwarka, Jamnagar, Junagadh and Morbi due to the cyclone. More than 15,000 people have been evacuated from Kutch-Saurashtra till Monday, including 3,000 from 31 villages in Porbandar and more than 1,500 in Dwarka.
