Shri Anna Miletus Taluka Level Dish Competition organized by ICDS Mahila and Child Development on Friday at Ambedkar Hall Patan in the presence of Provincial Officer.

The dignitaries present in this taluka level dish competition were felicitated with flowers by the employees of ICDS component. Then the seja level competition was conducted by the main sevika sisters on dates one to eight, and the taluka level dish competition was held for the sisters who obtained number one to three. In this competition, 30 sisters used millets as well as Bal Shakti Matrashakti Purna Shakti coming from the Anganwadi Center. Currently used millets i.e. forgotten thick rice like bunti, Rajgaro, jar makai, ragi, bajri, tandara etc. Various tasty and nutritious dishes were prepared by the Anganwadi worker using spinach, fenugreek, dudhi, tandarjo and all sprouted pulses as well as pepper masala, jaggery, desi ghee oil etc. used at home.

Provincial Officer Mitulbhai Patel, Taluka Development Officer Ketanbhai Prajapati, Priyankaben from Dharpur NRC, Agriculture Officer Mukeshbhai Limbachiya were present as judges in this competition. And the decision was made keeping in mind the method of making each dish, how long it takes, what ingredients are used, the vision of nutrients and cleanliness and that it should be convenient and healthy for the body and that even common householders can easily use everything.

In this taluka level competition, Parmar Chothiben of Patan City One and his dishes Mix Millets, Mix Sprouted Beans Chamchamiya with Bajri and Ragini Sukhdi came second, Patel Chandrikaben of Patan City Three and Patel Purvikaben of Patan came third. Prizes were awarded to the first, second and third winning numbers by Leo Club Patan and its sponsor Manojbhai Patel. All participating sisters were also given incentive prizes.

At the beginning of the program, a bottle of water and a cash prize of Rs 600 were given as an incentive prize for presenting a welcome song by the little boys of the Anganwadi. To make this program more successful, leaders including Patan District BJP General Minister, Urmilaben Patel and staff of ICDS attended and made the program successful.
