A collection of Hemantbhai Chauhan’s devotional compositions ‘Harinam Heli’ was released by Sant Morari Bapu. Recently, when the famous singer Hemantbhai Chauhan was honored with the Padma Shri award by the Government of India, V.V.P. in Rajkot. A ‘Hete Vadhavye Hemantane’ ceremony was organized by the ‘Padmashri Hemant Chauhan Samman Samiti’ in association with the Rajkot Citizens Co-operative Bank at Zawerchand Meghani Auditorium of the College of Engineering to honor Padmashri Hemantbhai Chauhan. In this program, Hemantbhai Chauhan was felicitated by the Minister of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairy Department of the Central Government, Prasottambhai Rupala, by draping a shawl and presenting a memento, certificate of appreciation, and a check of 1 lakh 51 thousand.
Hemantbhai’s bhajans should relax the mind
On this occasion, Sant Moraribapu said that Hemant Chauhan has made a very important contribution as a Santwani singer. The four types of bhajans are written, recited, recited, and sung bhajans. The best of which is the sung bhajan. A written bhajan feels familiar after one recites it, Hemantbhai’s bhajans are soothing to the mind.

The program started with lamp lighting by dignitaries on stage. Hemant and his daughter Geetaben performed the bhajan ‘Sukh Re Sagar Main Hanslo Motidaan Chane’. Prahladbhai gave a musical rendition of Kabir Vani. The dignitaries on stage were welcomed with bouquets, mementos and shawls. Every member of the Padmashri Hemant Chauhan Honor Committee was felicitated by Santavarya Morari Bapu. On this occasion, Hemantbhai was honored by various community leaders, saints and social organizations.

Comedian Sairambhai Dave delivered the welcome address at the function. Program Role Dr. Sunilbhai Jadav gave it. Comedian Padmashri Shahbuddinbhai Rathore, folklorist Padmashri Bhikhudanbhai Gadhvi, comedian Dhirubhai Saravaiya and folk singer Padmashri Prahaladbhai Tipaniya from Madhya Pradesh delivered the occasion speech. The introduction of the book was given by poet Sanjubhai Vala. The program was conducted by Shri Sanjaybhai Kamdar.
