Nikhilbhai injured by kite string.
A day before Uttarayan, another biker youth in Vadodara received 21 stitches after being injured on the neck by a kite string. The youth was treated at Sayaji Hospital.
The incident happened on Jetalpur Bridge
After the death of two persons in Vadodara in the past 13 days in the incident of slitting the throat with the string of a kite, now a day before Uttarayan, a biker youth has sustained injuries on his throat. 31-year-old Nikhil Sureshbhai Kachia Patel, a 31-year-old youth living in Vraj Vihar flat in Shiabagh area of the city, went out on a two-wheeler with the child at 3:30 this afternoon. Meanwhile, Nikhil got serious injuries on his neck due to the string of kite on Jetalpur Bridge.
21 stitches on the neck
So Nikhil was admitted to Sayaji Hospital for treatment by ambulance. Where he got 21 stitches on his neck. Nikhil’s life is narrowly saved after his throat is cut by the string of the kite. However, not everyone is as lucky as Nikhil. Just last week, two people died in a throat slitting incident in Vadodara.

Ten days ago, biker Mahesh Thakur died after his throat was cut by a kite string in Sama Canal area of Vadodara. The entire incident of the young man’s throat being cut with a cord was captured on CCTV.
