Oath of Natural Farming in Habitat Program

Prime Minister Narendra Modi spent Rs. 42,441 houses built at a cost of Rs.1946 crore were inaugurated and the beneficiaries were taken into residence and various projects worth Rs.2452 crore were e-launched and sealed. On this occasion, 15 beneficiaries of the housing scheme were given keys and kumbhaghados by Zilla Panchayat President Ghanshyambhai Virani in a program held at the town hall of Botad. On this occasion, Zilla Panchayat President Ghanshyambhai Virani greeted the beneficiaries who entered the house.

On this occasion, the people present were sworn to adopt indigenous cow-based natural farming. Officials, leaders and beneficiaries and their families including Chief Officer of Botad Municipality PG Goswami were present at the town hall run by municipality in Botad.

Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban BLC component, the number of sanctioned beneficiaries of Botad city is 1725, out of which the construction of houses of 1345 beneficiaries has been completed. In the next six months, the construction of the approved beneficiaries’ accommodation will be completed.

Barwala | Akshay Budania, District Development Officer at Bhimnath of Barwala taluka, made the beneficiary enter the house and handed over the key of the new residence to the beneficiary. And while entering the house with the Kumbhaghada, the beneficiary expressed his happiness that he got a new house. On this occasion, the District Development Officer interacted with the beneficiary and also obtained information about his family. On this occasion, the District Development Officer Akshay Budania participated in the virtual program of the Prime Minister. Barwala Taluka Development Officer and other officials were also present in this program.
