After the BJP, the preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in the state of Gujarat have been started by the Congress party. An important meeting of the Congress party regarding the Lok Sabha was organized in Amreli district. In which National Congress Secretary and Saurashtra in-charge Ramkishan Ojha visited Amreli district. Most of the former MLAs were absent in this meeting. However, District Congress President DK Raiyani was present along with former Savarkundla MLA Pratap Dudhat. Murmurs started among Congress workers as another former MLA was absent.

Congress stalwarts were absent
Leaders including former Gujarat opposition leader and former MLA Paresh Dhanani, former Lathi Babar MLA Virji Thumar, former Rajula Jafarabad MLA Ambarish Der were not present in the meeting and became the center of discussion among the activists.
