A national conclave was organized by Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India Ahmedabad and Dalit Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry on the theme ‘Empowering Youth Fostering Inclusion and Diversity’ to involve youth in India’s G-20 Presidency and promote their active participation. The conclave was also supported by SIDBI and was organized to empower youth, provide them a platform for meaningful discussion, knowledge sharing and strengthen diversity and inclusion.
A discussion on achieving diversity and inclusion in society
The main agenda of the conclave was to identify the challenges and barriers to achieving diversity and inclusion in society and to discuss policies, measures and processes to promote inclusiveness. The conclave also discussed innovative measures to promote diversity and inclusion at various levels. Various technical sessions were also organized as part of this event. Various sessions discussed future operations in the context of the fourth industrial revolution, measures to achieve inclusive practices and the importance of cooperation and inclusive policies for long-term sustainability.

On this occasion, Dr. Milind Kamble said that people have enthusiastically participated in G-20. India is ahead of other countries. This is the right time, when the youth has to play a significant role and shoulder a great responsibility. They should present ideas, plans and strategies, so as to help create a beneficial structure and system. The country’s demographic diversity actually offers an opportunity to shine through Y-20 and lead progress. Social and economic inclusion is a progressive step that India has made extensive use of.
